Double or Nothing is a living, growing archive. An exploration of creative “twinships”—twin relationships.
As a twin, you’re not alone in the world—you have a built-in life partner. When both twins embrace this prenatal companionship, that partner may be the best creative collaborator one could ask for. For many of the talented twins featured in Double or Nothing, working solo hadn’t even crossed their minds, as partnering with each other is so harmonious and productive.
For the first time, Double or Nothing gathers together creative twins to explore their relationships, work, and how the siblings interact—authored from the peer perspective of identical twin sisters (that’s us, Alice and Daphne). This critical research and curation considers twinship itself as a condition for creation. The authenticity and dynamism of these collaborations rings truer than ever as stories worth learning from, exploring, and following.

Selection Criteria
How did we curate these talented twins from all the twins in the world?
Double or Nothing gathers a cohesive group while welcoming a diversity of voices and practices. We’ve assembled a previously unidentified network of unique individuals guided by our selection criteria:
The twins have an active, professional, creative career where they present as one entity/under one name.
The twins generally appear identical—the “lookalike factor.”
All creative mediums and industries are considered: dancers, painters, actors, architects, musicians, etc. We will not focus on twin athletes, influencers, or other professionals.
There are no limits to age, geography, ability, or the extent of critical or financial success.
